COURSE DESCRIPTION
This qualification reflects the role of individuals who apply highly specialised knowledge and skills in the field of organisational learning and capability development. Individuals in these roles generate and evaluate complex ideas. They also initiate, design and execute major learning and development functions within an organisation. Typically, they would have full responsibility and accountability for the personal output and work of others.
This qualification may apply to leaders and managers in an organisation where learning is used to build organisational capability. The job roles that relate to this qualification may also include RTO Manager and RTO Director.
Course Duration
Total duration for this qualification is 52 weeks (including 10 Weeks Holidays). Students study minimum 20 hours a week face to face.
Assessment Methods
Assessment is carried out on a range of following tasks:
Research tasks, Projects
Presentations and Case Studies.
REQUIREMENTS
18 years or older
Candidates may enter the qualification through a number of entry points demonstrating potential to undertake study at graduate level which include:
A bachelor’s degree or an Australian equivalent degree, or
A relevant Diploma or Advanced Diploma together with 2 years of work experience, or
Without formal qualifications but with extensive experience of more than 5 years in relevant management role
IELTS 6.0 or equivalent

Prospective students seeking for enrolment at Polytechnic Victoria will have to successfully complete a placement test at the required ACSF level of qualification that provides Polytechnic Victoria insight into student’s capability and helps it make a decision on whether the student possess sufficient LLN skills to pursue the qualification they are looking to be enrolled in.
