COURSE DESCRIPTION
This qualification reflects the role of individuals working as developing and emerging leaders and managers in a range of enterprise and industry contexts. As well as assuming responsibility for their own performance, individuals at this level provide leadership, guidance and support to others. They also have some responsibility for organising and monitoring the output of their team. They apply solutions to a defined range of predictable and unpredictable problems, and analyse and evaluate information from a variety of sources.

BSBREL402 – Build client relationships and business networks
BSBRSK401 – Identify risk and apply risk management processes
BSBINN301 – Promote innovation in a team environment
BSBMGT402 – Implement operational plan
BSBCUS401 – Co-ordinate implementation of customer service strategies
BSBHRM405 – Support recruitment, selection and induction processes
BSBRES411 – Analyse and present research information
BSBCMM401 – Make a presentation
BSBLDR401 – Communicate effectively as a workplace leader
BSBWHS401 – Implement and monitor WHS policies, procedures and programs to meet legislative requirements
BSBLDR402 – Lead effective workplace relationships
BSBLDR403 – Lead team effectiveness
Modes of Delivery:
For International students: 20 hours classroom based training and 20 hours per week of self-study is required.
REQUIREMENTS
Minimum Age Requirement
18 years or older at commencement of course.
Minimum English Language Requirement
An English Language proficiency level of one of the below:
• Certificate III in EAL / IELTS band score of 5.5 or equivalent
• Satisfactorily completed ELICOS at to at least Upper Intermediate
level
• Completed equivalent of Australian Year 11 qualification from any of
the English speaking countries such as Australia, UK, USA, Canada,
New Zealand, South Africa, or the Republic of Ireland
• Completion of any Australian AQF Certificate III or higher qualification
• Satisfactorily completion of at least one semester of study in Australia
in a tertiary course (satisfactorily for this purpose would mean that the
applicant has completed 50% or more of the semester load)
• Completed a Placement Test devised and administered by Rhodes
College or a nominated accredited agency
Minimum Academic Qualification Requirement
Any one of the below:
• Completion of senior high school to
the Australian Year 11 or
equivalent
• Mature age students can also enter
based on an interview with Rhodes
College staff
