RMIT’s Bachelor of Engineering (Aerospace Engineering) (Honours) / Bachelor of Business double degree provides you with the capability to play a pivotal role in planning, implementing and managing aerospace projects and developments in a wide range of industries that require high level business skills.
The aerospace engineering degree is concerned with analysing, designing and operating sophisticated aeronautics and astronautics hardware and software systems, while the business degree is concerned with organisational planning, coordination and resource direction. You will graduate from the aerospace degree with an internationally recognised qualification, enabling you to have a global career as a leader in a wide range of industries and organisations.
With an extensive range of majors and minors to choose from, you can personalise your degree, developing specialist skills in your area of interest. Specialisations include aircraft technologies, spacecraft technologies, aviation industry, accounting, finance and international business. Work integrated learning is embedded throughout the degree, providing you with practical experience and employability skills. Graduates of this double degree could pursue a career as a leader in: design and manufacturing companies such as Boeing Australia, Airbus, BAE Systems Australia, Lockheed Martin and Australian Aerospace defence forces like the Royal Australian Navy, Australian Army and Royal Australian Air Force Defence Science and Technology Group and the Capability Acquisition and Sustainment Group Australian and international airlines airworthiness organisations such as Civil Aviation Safety Authority, Defence Aviation Safety Authority and Department of Defence general aviation organisation.
