The Master of Business Information Technology seeks to provide the knowledge and skills to operate confidently and effectively in a global technological business environment. This program is designed to produce ethically and socially responsible professionals who have the potential and knowledge to create and manage successful business information systems solutions drawing on technical and leadership capabilities, effective communication skills, client requirements focus, innovative professional practices, and strategic and organisational skills.
The program places a strong emphasis on providing a body of knowledge and experiences, by combining lectures, tutorials, workshops and seminars, which reflect the practicalities of the real world, especially concerning Information and Communications Technology (ICT) management and digital business. Theory and practice are appropriately blended to allow you to appreciate and develop an understanding of practical and ICT-related issues in business.
