COURSE DESCRIPTION
This qualification reflects the roles of community services, case management and social housing workers involved in the managing, co-ordinating and/or delivering of person-centred services to individuals, groups and communities. At this level, workers have specialised skills in community services and work autonomously under broad directions from senior management. Workers are usually providing direct support to individuals or groups of individuals. Workers may also have responsibility for the supervision of other workers and volunteers and/or case management, program coordination or the development of new business opportunities.

REQUIREMENTS
There is no formally prescribed course entry requirement for this qualification, however, the most common pathway into the program is after completion of CHC42015 Certificate IV in Community Services and more commonly will come from the existing workers.
Student should be 18 years of age or over
Completed year 12 (HSC or Equivalent)
Have sound communication skills:
Provide IELTS certificate showing a score of 5.5 or above (or equivalent)
Undertake and successfully complete Signature Training College Language Literacy and Numeracy (LLN) assessment
Be able to satisfactorily participate in pre-enrolment interview
