The Graduate Certificate in Learning and Teaching (Higher Education) is designed for participants working in an academic or academic support role in higher education. Participants will learn creative approaches to curriculum design and delivery including digital technologies and any combination of on-campus, blended, and fully online modes.

REQUIREMENTS
Applicants are required to:
- Hold an Australian Bachelor degree or equivalent qualification (AQF Level 7) in any discipline
- Be employed in an academic or academic support role in a tertiary environment
Non-standard entry
Applicants without a formal qualification but with at least five years’ relevant work experience in an academic or academic support role in a tertiary environment, will be considered if they can demonstrate that they can undertake the course with a reasonable prospect of success.
English language requirements
Satisfactory completion of one of the following:
- Swinburne’s English for Academic Purposes (EAP 5 Advanced level) with overall 70%, all skills 65%
- minimum IELTS overall band of 6.5 (Academic Module) with no individual band below 6.0
- TOEFL iBT (internet-based) minimum score of 79 with a reading band no less than 18 and writing band no less than 20
- Pearson (PTE) minimum score of 58 (no communicative skills less than 50)
- C1 Advanced – 176, no band less than 169
- any other equivalent assessment of English language proficiency.
