We provide solid knowledge combined with practical skills, developing in you the edge for becoming a high impact entrepreneur, business leader or successful team player. This degree could be just the trigger for the transformational future that you are dreaming of.
The overarching purpose of the Course is to produce graduates who can take the challenge of becoming socially responsible entrepreneurs, or proactively engage in the expanding field of entrepreneurship-oriented business careers.
Course Highlights:
An exciting and new undergraduate course targeted at individuals who want to pursue creative and innovative directions in business
Students will gain the knowledge, understanding, and practical skills in different facets of business which will equip them to function effectively in a diverse and ever changing world.
Focusing on high student satisfaction rate and learning outcomes, reflected by developing the critical thinking competence in students that enables them translating exciting ideas into innovative actions.
Graduates either take the challenge of becoming socially responsible entrepreneurs, or proactively engage in the expanding field of entrepreneurial business careers.
Face-to-face teaching in a conveniently located College, or, equivalent hours of teaching in an online or blended mode.
Taught and supported by highly knowledgeable, experienced and culturally competent teachers and support staff.
Includes 2 Units of Work Integrated Learning (WIL) where students get real world experience.
Different modes of study available: 3 years (Normal full time mode), 2 years (Accelerated Full time Mode).
REQUIREMENTS
Applicants must be at a minimum 18 years of age prior to course commencement.
Recent secondary education (within the past 2 years) with a completed Year 12 or equivalent with ATAR 60, or equivalent overseas qualification, or
A tertiary education qualification at AQF Level 5 (Diploma) or above, or equivalent, from an Australian University or other accredited higher education provider, or equivalent overseas qualification, or
Vocational education qualification at AQF Level 4 (Certificate IV) or above, or equivalent, from a registered training organisation (RTO), or equivalent overseas qualification.
English Language
The English proficiency requirements for international students or local applicants with international qualifications are:
Minimum IELTS (Academic Module) score of 6.0 overall with no band being less than 5.5, or equivalent, or
Evidence of education up to Year 12 in schools where English is the only medium of instruction, or
Special Entry
Special entry may be possible for applicants who do not meet the above requirements but demonstrate that they have suitable work experience to be able to undertake this degree.
Suitable work experience for special entry means that the applicants have at least two years’ full time experience in a role involving significant business management and entrepreneurial tasks and responsibilities, within the last five years.
Language Proficiency of IELTS 6.0 (minimum 5.5 in all bands) or equivalent.
