Working in early childhood and want to apply for a Centre Coordinator or Director role? The demand for qualified directors has increased in recent years, with some shortages. A mid-career centre director would expect around AUD $31 an hour and of course, this is always in review.
This comprehensive diploma will qualify you to design and implement early childhood education and care programs.
Potential roles on completion include:
Early Childhood Educator, Nominated Supervisor, Service Director/Centre Director
COURSE OUTCOMES
On successful completion of the course, students will receive Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care qualification. Graduates from this course will be able to perform the duties of Early Childhood Educator.
Employment pathways are available to students who complete this qualification in:

Note: SSBT does not offer the Bachelor of Early Childhood Education and Care.
REQUIREMENTS
Entry to this qualification is open to individuals who:
- Hold a CHC30121 Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care or
- CHC30113 Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care.
- Overseas students must demonstrate English language proficiency of IELTS 6.0 or equivalent.
Candidates will be made aware of the specific skills that underpin the outcomes and performance requirements of the course units to ensure they are capable of demonstrating competence prior to entering the course.
