Prepare yourself for a future in civil construction projects and workforces with the Advanced Diploma of Civil Construction Design. This course will mimic real world civil construction responsibilities, ensuring you graduate with a strong insight into the daily activities involved in civil construction.
This course will teach you to perform tasks that are broad, specialised, complex and technical in nature. You will learn to be responsible for the design of complex projects and to demonstrate the self-directed application of theoretical and technical knowledge. You will graduate confident in your ability to initiate solutions to technical problems and management or client requirements.
Through a mix of theory and practical coursework, learn to:
Lead and manage team effectiveness
Manage the civil works design process
Establish and maintain a quality system
Manage program risk
Advise on the application of safe design principles to control WHS (Work, Health, Safety) risk
Build your experience and get practical skills in:
Determining project quality, budget and time constraints
Working in a team to develop and interpret project plans, and solve key civil construction challenges

Diploma of Civil Construction Design
English Language Requirements:
Academic IELTS 5.5 or TOEFL (iBT) 46 or equivalent
Or Completion of A TAFE NSW General English Program
