COURSE DESCRIPTION
This qualification will give you a strong grounding in graphic design skills, as well as an education in a broad range of traditional and digital illustration techniques. You can apply visual problem solving and conceptual development skills to the creation of storyboards, illustrations in technical, architectural, fashion and commercial fields for end uses such as advertising, publications and/or print media, children’s books; development of digital graphics for the web, television, film industries and the graphic novel.
To enter this qualification you will need to show evidence of technical skill and an ability to use graphic design software. These skills and knowledge may have been gained through personal or work experience or through completion of formal study.

STUDY PATHWAYS
Graduates may engage in further learning in vocational education through the CUA60315A Advanced Diploma of Graphic Design, higher education qualifications in graphic design and broader areas of practice, such as digital media or other design disciplines.
