According to the Australian Government’s Job Outlook service, the number of people working as nursing support and personal care workers is expected to grow strongly in the future. There are likely to be around 64,000 job openings expected in this industry over the next five years.
This course will give you the skills you need to comply with infection prevention and workplace health and safety (WHS), interpret and apply medical terminology, and recognise healthy body systems. You will also learn how to transport clients and carry out nursing assistant duties in a range of settings. Our highly experienced team of industry professionals will give you the support and one-on-one guidance you need to successfully transition into the health care sector.
Successful completion of this course will qualify you to work as an Assistant in Nursing (AIN). It will also give you the foundation knowledge needed to undertake further studies in this field.

REQUIREMENTS
Academic Requirements: Completion of Year 10 (or equivalent). Non school-leavers must have relevant work experience or qualification that indicates likely success of course completion.
International students who are under 18 years of age and are applying for a student visa are required by the Australian Government Department of Home Affairs to have adequate welfare arrangements in place.
Academic IELTS 6.0 (no individual band less than 5.5) or ISLPR 3 on all skills or other; iBT score of 60 with 13 in Reading /12 in Learning and 21 in writing /18 in speaking; PTE Academic (Pearson Test of English) overall score of 50 with Reading /Learning /writing /speaking score of 50; Cambridge English: Advanced (CAE) score of 169.
