Advance your IT career with this high-level course and learn specialist skills that will qualify you to work in programming.
According to the Australian Government’s Job Outlook service, there is strong future job growth predicted for computer network professionals. This large occupation is expected to create around 17,000 job openings over the next five years.
In this specialisation you will learn how to build advanced user interfaces and implement a model view controller framework. You will also learn how to match ICT needs and provide strategic direction to your business, including how to promote workplace cyber security.
Successful completion of this course will qualify you to work in the IT industry as an assistant software developer, systems administrator, or analyst programmer. It will also give you the foundation skills needed to undertake further studies in your field.

If you want to go on to further study at university, TAFE Queensland has a pathway option to get you there. In many cases, completing one of our diplomas may give you a full year of credit towards a degree with one of our partner universities.
REQUIREMENTS
Academic Requirements: Completion of Year 12 (or equivalent). Non school-leavers must have relevant work experience or qualification that indicates likely success of course completion.
International students who are under 18 years of age and are applying for a student visa are required by the Australian Government Department of Home Affairs to have adequate welfare arrangements in place.
Academic IELTS 5.5 (no individual band less than 5.0) or ISLPR 2+ on all skills or other; iBT score of 46 with 8 in Reading /7 in Learning and 18 in writing /16 in speaking; PTE Academic (Pearson Test of English) overall score of 42 with Reading /Learning /writing /speaking score of 36; Cambridge English: Advanced (CAE) score of 162.
