COURSE DESCRIPTION

A range of positions in the Visual Effects industry including 3D Computer Animator, Compositor as well as film and advertising industries. Game artist, Computer Animator as well as the simulations industry and film and advertising as 3D modellers and texture artists.

Advanced Diploma of Screen and Media (Content Creation and Design) (CUA60620)
This course is designed for students that want to excel in the field of visual effects and 3D computer animation for television and cinema or learn advanced skills required of artists in game development. Students specialising in Visual Effects and CGI are taught various aspects of the movie and television making process so that they understand where computer generated imagery fits in the workflow of a production. Students specialising in Game Art specialise in environment creation as modellers and texture artists and develop a broad knowledge of the game development process. Particular emphasis is placed on modelling, texturing, rigging, animation, and game engines with a major team production. To complete the qualification you are required to complete all 4 core units and 12 elective units.

REQUIREMENTS

Academic IELTS score of 6.0 Overall with minimum of 5.0 in all bands or equivalent.

Satisfactory completion of the Diploma of Screen & Media (Animation, Gaming and Visual Effects)
