Course Description
This qualification reflects the role of individuals who apply highly specialised knowledge and skills in the field of organisational learning and capability development. Individuals in these roles generate and evaluate complex ideas. They also initiate, design and execute major learning and development functions within an organisation. Typically, they would have full responsibility and accountability for the personal output and work of others.
This qualification may apply to leaders and managers in an organisation where learning is used to build organisational capability. The job roles that relate to this qualification may also include RTO Manager and RTO Director.
Course Structure– In order to achieve this qualification, student must complete following 8 unit of competencies.
- 3 core unit, plus
- 5 elective units
Mode of Delivery:
Classroom based Face to Face theory learning with access to a simulated environment for a minimum 20 hours per week.
Pathway from the Qualification
Students may also choose to pathway from this course to a higher education provider. Students can apply for direct credit transfer with Australian universities and higher education providers.

REQUIREMENTS
Age requirements:
Students must be above 18 years of age while filling up the application form.
Academic Requirements:
To enter into this course delivered at TEDI, applicants should have successfully completed minimum Diploma level qualification
OR
Mature Age students will also be considered without the minimum education requirements considering they have relevant work experience within the chosen area of study and a demonstrated capacity to meet the course requirements. A minimum of 2 years’ experience would normally be expected; however, each case will be reviewed individually with relevant work experience evidence in the form of an employment reference letter on company letterhead, work samples and curriculum vitae submitted will be considered. Such learner will be accessed for possible RPL opportunities and their course duration and volume of learning will be adjusted accordingly, if any RPL is granted.
English Language Requirements for International students:
International students applying for this course either off-shore or on-shore will require:
Either a minimum IELTS test score of 5.5 or equivalent for direct entry into a VET course;
or, IELTS score of 5.0 or equivalent with an ELICOS course (up to 10 weeks) to be taken before the main VET course;
or, IELTS score of 4.5 or equivalent with an ELICOS course (up to 20 weeks) to be taken before the main VET course
