COURSE DESCRIPTION
The ANU Bachelor of Music nurtures outstanding musical artistry through the intersection of performance, composition and technology. We believe that discovery lies at the heart of both creativity and excellence. We foster artistry through offering a diversity of musical experiences in an environment that encourages excellence, passion and entrepreneurship.
Our program provides students with a unique 21st Century musical experience which includes classical, jazz and contemporary performance, multimedia composition and audio engineering and recording. Students can specialise in one or more of five majors: performance; composition for film and video games, composition, music technology; and musicology.

REQUIREMENTS
Applicants who complete a recognised secondary/senior secondary/post-secondary/tertiary sequence of study will be assessed on the basis of an equivalent selection rank that is calculated upon application.
Entry to the Bachelor of Music is based on meeting the minimum selection rank requirement. Entry to Performance stream of courses within the Bachelor of Music is by audition. Applicants wishing to enrol in Performance courses are advised to contact the ANU School of Music to arrange for an audition as soon as possible.
English Language Requirements
IELTS Academic and IELTS UKVI Academic [excluding One Skill Retake and IELTS Online] – Overall score of 6.5 overall with minimum 6.0 in each band.
TOEFL iBT [excluding Home Edition] – Overall score of 80 (Reading – 20; Writing – 20; Listening – 18; Speaking – 18).
Cambridge C1 Advanced – Overall score of 176 minimum 169 in each band.
PTE Academic and PTE Academic UKVI [excluding PTE Academic Online] – Overall score of 64 minimum 55 in each band.
