COURSE DESCRIPTION
This course is the perfect pathway if you’re looking to pursue a career in modern science. You will build on the skills and knowledge gained from completing the MSL40122 Certificate IV Laboratory Techniques, and focus on analytical chemistry, quality and data processing.
This hands-on course develops your skills to work in laboratories across various fields. You will learn to analyse, apply and perform a range of processes and procedures, including aseptic techniques, biological procedures, analytical chemistry and procedures, histological tests and procedures, microbiological tests and molecular biology tests and procedures.
How often do I attend?
Full time – 3 days a week

REQUIREMENTS
Academic:
Successful completion of Certificate IV in Laboratory Techniques.
English:
IELTS Academic overall score of 6.0 with no band below 5.0 (or equivalent); or completion of Australian Year 12; or a qualification undertaken in Australia at Certificate IV or higher and completed within the past 5 years; or university studies in Australia of at least 2 years duration. TOEFL iBT: 46-59; PTE Academic: 42; Cambridge English: Advanced (CAE): 47-51; OET: C.
Age/other requirements:
You must be 18 years or over at the time of course commencement.
