COURSE DESCRIPTION
There are many reasons we encourage graduates to apply for an honours year. You might want to build a necessary foundation for postgraduate research. You could be seeking answers to questions about languages no one else has asked. Perhaps you’re pursuing advanced communication skills and subject knowledge to gain a competitive edge in the job market.
Our prerequisite for honours study is at least a credit standard in a specified major. Applications are called for by Departments/Disciplines in October and November each year.
What will you do?
Attend regular classes for advanced coursework.
Partner with an academic mentor who’ll support and encourage your intellectual development.
Produce an extended piece of work (thesis) on a chosen topic.
Intake: February and/or July (subject to availability)
