COURSE DESCRIPTION
As artificial intelligence (AI) and automation become more prevalent across workplaces in all sectors, ensuring policies appropriately factor for the social and ethical implications of these technologies is increasingly important. This course is ideal for professionals wanting to be prepared for the policy challenges that accompany technological advancement. Examine the social and ethical implications of AI: Gain an understanding of the key social and ethical implications of AI in the workplace, and the way governments are situating these concerns within policy development. Critically analyse AI initiatives and strategies: Learn how to critically assess AI policies, initiatives and strategies by reviewing leading global frameworks and workplace policies. Consider how AI policies are influencing work: Learn about some of the leading AI policies at multiple levels, and explore national and international policy frameworks and principles related to AI and influencing the workplace.
