COURSE DESCRIPTION
All students of the Bachelor of Science study a set of core interdisciplinary Science courses including experimental design, maths, biology, chemistry and ecology. These courses provide the basis for strong skills in scientific investigation, including data collection and analysis, critical thinking, problem solving, teamwork, and effective communication and also ensure versatile graduates. These skills are highly sort after by employers and applicable to many workplaces both within and outside of the field of Science.
Building on these core Science courses, you will deepen your study of Science by selecting a Science Stream that matches your interests: Biology & Environment, Environment & Heritage, Human & Medical Science, or Multidisciplinary Science. Each Stream ensures in-depth knowledge and skill development through practical hands-on experience in the classroom, the laboratory, and in the field.

Human and Medical Science stream
This Stream is ideal for anyone with a passion for understanding the science of the human body and an interest in working in the health industry. Through this Stream you will build on the strong foundation in Science from the core Science courses to gain expertise in anatomy, physiology, biochemistry, microbiology, pathology and neuroscience.
This Stream provides a unique balance of theory, practice and interdisciplinary perspectives to ensure your study of human science takes a holistic approach, and you develop sort-after skills in problem-solving, innovation, analysis and communication.
The flexibility in the Bachelor of Science degree allows you to explore your interests and pursue many career possibilities:
You can diversify your career opportunities by combining this Stream with courses in complementary disciplines such as Behavioural Science, Preventive Health, Journalism or Social Justice to form a six-course Minor.
Or deepen your knowledge and experience through more courses in Human & Medical Science.
REQUIREMENTS
Applicants must meet High school qualifications (or equivalent) to apply for undergraduate program. Academic minimum entry requirements for international applicants vary from country to country.
IELTS (Academic) – 6.5 overall, with no individual band score lower than 6.0; CAE/CPE – 176 overall, with no individual band score lower than 169; PTE Academic – 58 overall, with no individual band score lower than 50; TOEFL (iBT) – 84 overall, with no score lower than 21 in writing and no other band score lower than 17.
