Explore the science of human behaviour with the Bachelor of Psychology. In this course, you will build your specialisation in psychology to help you understand to mental processes and allow you to better understand how we think, act and feel.
Who is it for?
The Bachelor of Psychology is ideal for the student who is considering a career in the psychology industry but also wants to keep their options open.
Career paths
After three years of study (psychology program or psychological science major) you could develop a career in advertising, market research, marketing, public relations, science journalism, or public policy.
Our graduates can be found working across a variety of roles, including:
clinical, forensic, organisational or sports psychologist (with further study)
neuroscientist
market researcher
school counsellor
advertising executive
management consultant
social policy analyst
learning and attention researcher
Honours graduates have the necessary training to work in schools, hospitals, prisons, human resources, with people with developmental disabilities, and in various social policy areas in the private and public sectors.
Professional accreditation
Completion of the accredited Level 1 and 2 programs (Foundational, and Pre-Professional Competencies) with the Australian Psychology Accreditation Council (APAC), that will allow provisional registration with the Australian Psychological Society.
