The Master of Health Law (MHL) is a flexible, specialist qualification covering wide-ranging legal and ethical issues in healthcare. You will learn to identify, analyse and develop solutions to complex legal, ethical and policy issues affecting health and health services.
Who is it for?
Our students come from a wide range of disciplinary backgrounds. They include practising lawyers, health professionals, health administrators, government officers, health advocates and others seeking a deeper understanding of legal and regulatory issues arising within the health sector.
Career paths
Health law concerns the legal issues arising from the provision of health care services, the impact of new technologies on health care, the regulation of the health professions, and public health.
The Master of Health Law is designed for lawyers or non-lawyers who wish to upgrade their qualifications for the purposes of career advancement or professional and academic interest.
