Obtain a qualification to teach 1-2 secondary school subjects, including English, mathematics, science, HSIE, creative arts (drama or music), PDHPE, or languages. Develop expertise in Aboriginal education, teaching for diversity, and the use of educational innovation and technology in classrooms.

Who is it for?

For undergraduates aspiring to be qualified secondary school teachers, specialising in 1-2 teaching areas based on your undergraduate degree and interest.

Career paths

The Master of Teaching is a graduate-entry professional teaching qualification to become an accredited teacher in NSW and other Australian jurisdictions.

You’ll be qualified to teach in secondary schools, in areas including:

Aboriginal studies

biology

chemistry

business studies

drama

geography

health and physical education

history (modern or ancient)

languages (Arabic, Chinese, French, German, Hebrew (modern or classical), Indonesian, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Latin, Modern Greek or Spanish
