This major focuses on the fundamental relationship between law and business and is ideal for those planning careers in a range of business areas including professional accounting, business management, international trade and industrial relations. It will equip you with important skills in teamwork and in written and oral communication, as well as high-level analytical, problem-solving and research skills.

Career Pathways
Business Law graduates are well qualified for a variety of roles in the private and government sectors. These include careers in accountancy (with appropriate further qualifications), business management, marketing, international trade, banking and finance, public service, industrial relations, human resource management and related professions and endeavours that draw on an appropriate level of knowledge of business law. Employers include government organisations and non-government organisations (NGOs) involved in areas such as consumer protection, competition policy, financial regulation, trade policy and legal assistance.

REQUIREMENTS
Entry requirements may vary from country to country. Students are required to complete an international academic qualification equivalent to Australian High School (or equivalent).
English language requirements:
IELTS (academic): Overall minimum score of 6.5, no band lower than 6.0
TOEFL Internet-based TOEFL (iBT): an overall score of 82 or above with a minimum score of 22 in writing, 18 in reading, 20 in speaking and 20 in listening
Pearsons Test of English (PTE) (academic): An overall score of 64 with a minimum score of 59 in the speaking and writing sections, and no less than 54 in the other sections
