COURSE DESCRIPTION
Are you passionate about how sport and exercise play a vital part in general health and performance? Become an accredited Exercise Scientist with Exercise and Sport Science Australia (ESSA) and improve the health and performance of individuals, employees, athletes and the community. The Bachelor of Sport and Exercise Sciences takes a multidisciplinary approach to examine humans’ relationship with sport, exercise and physical activity. Theory is combined with hands-on laboratory and practical work so you have the opportunity to develop technical and communication skills.
You’ll learn to
demonstrate broad and coherent theoretical and technical knowledge with depth in the discipline of Sport and Exercise Sciences
apply well-developed cognitive, creative and communication skills in diverse contexts
review critically, analyse, consolidate and synthesise knowledge
exercise critical thinking and judgement in identifying and solving problems with intellectual independence
present a clear, coherent and independent exposition of knowledge and ideas
demonstrate skills and knowledge necessary for employment in the discipline of Sport and Exercise Sciences and further study

REQUIREMENTS
Entry requirements may vary from country to country. Students are required to complete an international academic qualification equivalent to Australian High School (or equivalent).
English language requirements:
IELTS (academic): Overall minimum score of 6.5, no band lower than 6.0
TOEFL Internet-based TOEFL (iBT): an overall score of 82 or above with a minimum score of 22 in writing, 18 in reading, 20 in speaking and 20 in listening
Pearsons Test of English (PTE) (academic): An overall score of 64 with a minimum score of 59 in the speaking and writing sections, and no less than 54 in the other sections
