COURSE DESCRIPTION
If you’re looking to upskill in clinical psychology and you’ve completed a master’s degree or equivalent in clinical neuropsychology and are qualified with the Psychology Board of Australia (PsyBA) this bridging course allows you to do that. You’ll be eligible for endorsement as a clinical psychologist with the PsyBA and the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Board (AHPRA).
The Graduate Diploma in Clinical Psychology will usually be taken as a 2-year part-time, 48 point course.
Course structure
Postgraduate coursework degrees and combined (coursework and research) degrees comprise a number of units.

REQUIREMENTS
(1) To be considered for admission to this course an applicant must have—(a) an accredited Master of Clinical Neuropsychology, or an accredited Doctor of Psychology (Clinical Neuropsychology), or an equivalent qualification, as recognised by UWA; and(b) completed a thesis project in their Masters or Doctoral program with a content area relevant to the field of clinical psychology(2) Applicants must be eligible for provisional registration as a psychologist with the Psychology Board of Australia, which includes meeting the Board’s English language registration standard.
English language requirements:
TOEFL (paper-based): 570 with a Test of Written English (TWE) of no less than 4.5
IBT TOEFL (Internet-based test score): 82 with 22 for writing, 20 for speaking, 20 for listening, and 18 for reading
IELTS (Academic): 6.5 (no band lower than 6.0)
Cambridge Certificate of Proficiency in English: C pass
Cambridge Certificate in Advanced English: B grade
Pearson Test of English (PTE) (Academic): Overall score of 64 with a minimum score of 64 in the Reading and Writing sections, 59 in the Speaking section and 54 in the Listening section
