This course is designed for professionals in education who wish to expand their expertise and career possibilities. It will introduce you to theory as well as national and international educational practices. You will have the opportunity to connect these considerations with your own experiences.
Course structure
Postgraduate coursework degrees and combined (coursework and research) degrees comprise a number of units.
Specialisations
Choose from three specialisations within the Master of Education:

Educational Leadership
Each specialisation consists of four units designed to equip you with in-depth knowledge of your chosen area.

REQUIREMENTS
To be considered for admission to this course an applicant must have—(a)(i) a three year Bachelor’s degree and a Graduate Diploma, or equivalent qualifications as recognised by UWA, or(ii) a four year Bachelor of Education or Graduate Diploma in Education or Master of Teaching, or an equivalent qualification as recognised by UWA, or(iii) a Bachelor’s degree requiring at least four years of full-time studyand(b) at least two years of professional experience in a relevant occupation.
English language requirements:
TOEFL (paper-based): 570 with a Test of Written English (TWE) of no less than 4.5
IBT TOEFL (Internet-based test score): 82 with 22 for writing, 20 for speaking, 20 for listening, and 18 for reading
IELTS (Academic): overall score of at least 7.5 and no band less than 6.5
Cambridge Certificate of Proficiency in English: C pass
Cambridge Certificate in Advanced English: B grade
Pearson Test of English (PTE) (Academic): Overall score of 64 with a minimum score of 64 in the Reading and Writing sections, 59 in the Speaking section and 54 in the Listening section
