Postgraduate coursework degrees and combined (coursework and research) degrees comprise a number of units.

REQUIREMENTS
Must have—the requirements set out in (a), (b) or (c) which follow or the equivalent as recognised by the Faculty; or the requirements set out in (d) or (e): (a)(i) a bachelor’s degree of this University; and (ii) completed a postgraduate course in education requiring at least one year of full-time study; and (iii) either two years’ full-time relevant professional experience or adequate research preparation demonstrated to the satisfaction of the Graduate School of Education or (b)(i) the Bachelor of Education of this University; and (ii) either two years’ full-time relevant professional experience or adequate research preparation demonstrated to the satisfaction of the Graduate School of Education; or (c)(i) a degree requiring at least four years of full-time study; and (ii) two years’ full-time professional experience in the field of education; and (iii) adequate research preparation demonstrated to the satisfaction of the Graduate School of Education; or (d) a graduate diploma of this University that articulates with the Master of Education with an average of at least 65% in four coursework units including a mark of at least 65% in EDUC5631 Educational Research Design; or (e)(i) completed at least four units towards a graduate diploma that articulates with the Master of Education; and (ii) completed units relevant to the requirements of the master’s course and; (iii) achieved an average mark of at least 65% in four coursework units including a mark of at least 65% in EDUC5631 Educational Research Design.
English language requirements:
TOEFL (paper-based): 570 with a Test of Written English (TWE) of no less than 4.5
IBT TOEFL (Internet-based test score): 82 with 22 for writing, 20 for speaking, 20 for listening, and 18 for reading
IELTS (Academic): overall score of at least 7.5 and no band less than 6.5
