The transition to the Senior Years marks a period of new academic and social challenges but life in these year levels is full and rewarding. Experienced teachers, the use of advanced educational technology and the ability to employ an independent, innovative, modern, and creative methodology mean that our students are exposed to a dynamic academic program in which they are challenged constantly to achieve their very best. We guide and support our students as they evolve into young men and women ready to take on the world.
PREPARING YOUNG MEN AND WOMEN TO TAKE ON THE WORLD
Year 10 marks the beginning of senior schooling and provides additional opportunities for students. We focus on providing an enriching and supportive learning environment with no gender bias. We foster our students’ self-esteem and social skills and prepare them for a diverse world where both genders play important roles and contribute in equally important ways to the fabric of society.
Distinctive to Trinity are our personalised pathways for learning ensuring that by Year 10, we are supporting the unique talents of students, be they academic, cultural, sporting or vocational, through a dedicated path appropriate to their chosen form of education.
There is a strong focus on career planning, academic monitoring and guidance in the Senior Years to ensure that each student is following a pathway that reflects their abilities and interests, whether academic, leading to Australian Tertiary Admissions Rank (ATAR) and/or Vocational training.

REQUIREMENTS
Students must provide evidence of satisfactory academic performance appropriate to entry to the Year level requested on the Application for Enrolment or offered as an alternative point of
entry by the school in a Letter of Offer.
A pass level or “C” Year Level or better for the majority of core subjects
English Language Proficiency Requirements
- Applicants are assessed individually based on the contents of their report cards and personal references and may also be required to undertake a language proficiency test set by the school.
- If supplied, Trinity Lutheran college will assess evidence of English language proficiency presented by a student at the time of application but reserves the right to confirm the student’s English language proficiency through additional tests.

Trinity Lutheran College is a Kindergarten to Year 12 co-educational college and an International Baccalaureate World School for the Primary Years Programme (PYP). Trinity Lutheran is located in Ashmore on Queensland’s Gold Coast.
