COURSE DESCRIPTION
The Bachelor of Business aims to create contemporary professionals with a solid grounding in the core business fields of accounting, economics, ethics, management and marketing needed for organisational survival and success. The course will prepare students to take on a role as a future manager with leadership responsibilities for creating a more inclusive and sustainable global economy.
1. Learning Outcomes: demonstrate an in-depth knowledge of business and management theory and processes and their application to real-world business contexts, including an opportunity to complete a capstone experience, and to promote sustainable business in a globalised economy;
2. use cognitive and communication skills, tools and digital technologies to communicate appropriately and persuasively with a range of stakeholders;
3. apply critical and creative thinking to analyse complex real-world business problems and synthesise materials from a variety of sources in identifying solutions;
4. identify relevant information drawn from a range of sources in order to analyse data and complex business-related issues;
5. evaluate and demonstrate judgement in formulating responses to complex, social, cultural and ethical issues;
6. demonstrate a preparedness to engage in continuous learning and reflection to help inform professional practice; and
7. demonstrate ability to work independently and collaboratively with others to generate solutions to business problems.
Career outcomes: You will graduate from UNE’s Bachelor of Business as a flexible, all-rounder with specific skills in your chosen major. You could consider a broad range of careers in areas such as:

REQUIREMENTS
Entry is based on Australian Year 12 equivalence or an approved overseas qualification. English Language Requirements: An IELTS (Academic): overall score – 6.0, Listening, Reading, Writing, Speaking – 5.5; TOEFL Computer-based test overall score – 213, Internet-based test overall score -79, Writing – 22; Pearson PTE (Academic) overall score -57, Listening, Reading, Writing, Speaking – 50.
EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTION
The University of New England was originally formed in 1938 as the New England University College, a College of the University of Sydney. It became fully independent in 1954. The university is located on several sites in Armidale, NSW. All the programs are offered via the four faculties: Arts; Economics, Business and Law; Education, Health and Professional Studies; and The Sciences; these faculties incorporate 18 teaching schools. Research is offered in the areas of rural science, agricultural economics, geology, educational administration, linguistics, archaeology, etc.
