COURSE DESCRIPTION

Study law – a passport to a career as a successful lawyer, or a range of related legal professions

Our law courses provide you with a study program that will prepare you for work in diverse employment contexts. This degree meets the academic requirements needed to gain admission to the practice of law in New South Wales.

The Bachelor of Laws (Honours) program is offered only as a combined degree with the:

Course overview

Whether you choose to practise law or pursue another career, the skills and extensive knowledge you acquire through this combined degree will be invaluable. You will graduate with skills and experience in:

advanced research

You will learn and develop these skills by studying courses in various aspects of law including:

criminal law and procedure

equity and trusts

administrative law

property law

contract law

All students who successfully complete their Bachelor of Laws will graduate with Honours at a level determined by your academic achievement across the whole course of study. You will receive in-depth training in legal research techniques, and be equipped with advanced skills suitable for high-level legal research work or further academic study.
