With a focus on experienced-based learning and current business trends, the Graduate Diploma in Business Administration will help you take the next step in your career.
As part of your studies, you will further develop your managerial skills and specialised knowledge by studying areas such as strategic management, managerial finance, international business, ethics, marketing, and leadership and change management. You will develop advanced skills in thinking strategically and critically, and understand ethical considerations within a local and international context.
This postgraduate degree is offered as part of a nested suite in Business Administration where each qualification extends to the next, so you can easily transition to the next level qualification. If you decide to exit this qualification having completed the first four courses you will receive a Graduate Certificate in Business Administration. If you complete this qualification and wish to do further study, you can use this degree as a pathway and gain credit for successfully completed courses into the Master of Business Administration.
What you’ll learn
You will study a foundation course in strategic thinking, then select seven courses from a diverse range of subject areas including advanced electives. You will further develop business administration skills and knowledge by studying strategic management, managerial finance, international business, ethics, marketing, leadership and change management, and more.
All courses have an applied focus. They draw on real-life business case studies, and you are encouraged to use industry and workplace based issues for assessment tasks. Courses also feature visiting industry leaders who will lead discussions around contemporary business problems.

REQUIREMENTS
Applicants seeking admission to the program will normally have:
a) A minimum of three (3) years full time management experience and a recognised university undergraduate degree or equivalent professional qualifications;
or
b) A Graduate Certificate in Business Administration from the University of South Australia with an average of at least a Pass Level1 (55%), or an equivalent qualification from the University of South Australia or from another recognised university.
or
c) A minimum of seven (7) years full time management experience.
All applicants are also required to submit a detailed curriculum vitae or equivalent with at least one referee who can validate work experience.
English Language Requirements:
IELTS score of 6.5 (with 6.0 in Reading and Writing); TOEFL iBT score of 79 with Reading and Writing not less than 18; TOEFL paper-based test (PBT) score of 577 with TWE of 4.5; Cambridge CAE/CPE score of 177; Pearson’s test of English (Academic) (PTE) score of 58 with Reading and Writing communicative scores not less than 50; CELUSA score of AE5.
