Have you ever read an article, online or in the paper, that’s impacted you and shaped your thinking? How we engage with the world, in cultural, economic and political contexts is influenced heavily by the media.
Direct your research into language, film, television, culture, social media or mass communication and develop an in-depth understanding of how these areas can dynamically shape people’s lives in a media-driven world.
Complete courses in high-level research design and method.
Complete a dissertation under the expert supervision of UniSQ academics, in an area of your interest.
Further study
This degree will also serve as a pathway to further study, such as the Master of Research or the Doctor of Philosophy (PhD).

REQUIREMENTS
Completion of an Australian bachelor degree (or equivalent) in Arts or a related discipline, with a minimum Grade Point Average (GPA) of 5.0.
Students from different country must have qualifications equivalent to Australia.
English language requirements
IELTS (Academic only) – Overall minimum score of 6.0 and no individual band score of less than 5.5; TOEFL (internet based) – Overall minimum score of 80 and no individual skills score of less than 19; Pearson (PTE Academic) – Overall score of 50 and no individual Communicative Skills score of less than 50; Cambridge C1 Advanced C2 Proficiency – Overall minimum score of 169 with no less than 162 in each skill.
