Stories are incredibly powerful, and documentary films provide audiences with one of the most thought-provoking and powerful ways to understand the world around them.
Explore a diverse range of courses and develop technical skills and knowledge to help you stand out in this competitive industry.
Learn from industry experts and experienced academics who will help you create compelling non-fiction stories via film.
Develop practical skills in location production, editing techniques, cultural responsibilities, making and managing your career, experimental film and interactive documentary making, reality TV and script writing.
Further study
Depending on your choice of major, students who have competed a Bachelor of Communications and Media may enhance their professional skills by choosing specialised study in the Bachelor of Arts (Honours) or Master of Research.

REQUIREMENTS
Applicant must have Australian year 12 level or equivalent.
Students from different country must have qualifications equivalent to Australia.
English language requirements
IELTS (Academic only) – Overall minimum score of 6.0 and no individual band score of less than 5.5; TOEFL (internet based) – Overall minimum score of 80 and no individual skills score of less than 19; Pearson (PTE Academic) – Overall score of 50 and no individual Communicative Skills score of less than 50; Cambridge C1 Advanced C2 Proficiency – Overall minimum score of 169 with no less than 162 in each skill.
