Overview
Be a part of Australia’s iconic screen industry, a significant contributor to the nation’s cultural life and involving a range of roles, from actors, writers, producers, and post-production workers.
Enjoy flexibility in your study with the option to study completely online and still graduate with practical, tangible skills ready to apply to industry.
Create scripted shows, documentaries, reality TV, and online content for the small screen (TV, computer screen, phone screen etc.) for use on YouTube, Vimeo, social media, and websites.
Whether it’s working in the camera department, the production office, the editing suite or in the director’s chair, as a graduate you will have a wide selection of employment opportunities throughout the global film and screen industries.
Further study
Upon successful completion of this degree, you can go on to study the Bachelor of Creative Arts (Honours).
Career outcomes
Career possibilities include: film director, cinematographer, media manager, digital film editor, feature writer or production manager.

REQUIREMENTS
Applicant must have Australian year 12 level or equivalent.
Students from different country must have qualifications equivalent to Australia.
English language requirements
IELTS (Academic only) – Overall minimum score of 6.0 and no individual band score of less than 5.5; TOEFL (internet based) – Overall minimum score of 80 and no individual skills score of less than 19; Pearson (PTE Academic) – Overall score of 50 and no individual Communicative Skills score of less than 50; Cambridge C1 Advanced C2 Proficiency – Overall minimum score of 169 with no less than 162 in each skill.
