Overview

UniSQ’s Graduate Certificate of Nursing (General) gives you the freedom to tailor your nursing qualification to your professional development needs and specific career goals.
Complement your current employment in the health industry by increasing your knowledge and expertise in areas such as health leadership, aged care nursing, counselling, or immunisation nursing.
Offered part-time and online, this postgraduate nursing degree allows for study to fit into your busy lifestyle, where you can learn and live stream lectures, videos and audio files, slide shows, and online reading and discussions when and where it suits you.

Further study

After completing the Graduate Certificate of Nursing, there will be the option to take the credit from the courses and continue to complete the Graduate Diploma of Nursing or the Master of Nursing.

Career outcomes

Graduates will have the knowledge and expertise to pursue personal career aspirations within the health sector.

REQUIREMENTS

Completed a 3-year bachelor degree, or equivalent, in the area of nursing from a recognised university. Hold a current professional registration as a Division 1 Nurse, or equivalent, with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA), or relevant regulatory body in applicant’s home country.

IELTS (Academic only) – a minimum of IELTS 7.0 or equivalent.
