COURSE DESCRIPTION

Overview

Advance your coaching skills and strategies for working in high-performance settings with UniSQ’s Graduate Certificate of Strength and Conditioning.
Select from 8 courses and tailor your own career path. Explore areas, such as leadership and negotiation in sport; athlete profiling, testing and data interpretation to develop strength and conditioning program designs, including injury prevention, rehabilitation, and sports nutrition.
Learn from world-leading, international coaches and researchers who work with national teams leading up to Commonwealth Games, Olympic Games, and world cups as well as Olympic medallists.
This is an ideal qualification for sport and exercise science, clinical exercise physiology, or related graduates interested in advancing their career with strength and conditioning practices.

Further study

Graduates can go on to study the Graduate Diploma of Strength and Conditioning.

The Graduate Certificate of Strength and Conditioning will provide you with the skills required for a possible career as a strength and conditioning coach.

REQUIREMENTS

Completion of an Australian university 3-year or 4-year bachelor degree in the area of sport and exercise science, or equivalent, or a relevant health-related discipline with a minimum GPA of 4.5;
or
Completion of a Graduate Certificate in the area of sport and exercise science, or relevant health-related discipline with a minimum GPA of 4.5.

IELTS (Academic only) – a minimum of IELTS 7.0 or equivalent.
