Overview
UniSQ’s Master of Cyber Security (Technical) enables you to effectively locate and fix vulnerabilities, detect intrusion, and manage cyber risks.
Learn to critically examine, analyse and implement a range of innovative intelligent solutions to cyber security business scenarios.
You will explore cryptography within network security, big data management and analytics, and the best security practices relating to cloud-based business environments.
Be introduced to ethical hacking, where you will analyse and address vulnerabilities in an organisational security systems which a hacker could potentially exploit.
The hands-on capstone research project gives you the opportunity to work with industry and apply theory to practice in a collaborative, laboratory environment at UniSQ or in your own workplace.
Career outcomes
You will gain globally transferrable skills which you can apply to a range of contexts and scenarios in government, law enforcement and industry.

REQUIREMENTS
3-year bachelor degree, or equivalent qualification, from a recognised university.
IELTS (Academic only) – Overall minimum score of 6.0 and no individual band score of less than 5.5; TOEFL (internet based) – Overall minimum score of 80 and no individual skills score of less than 19; Pearson (PTE Academic) – Overall score of 50 and no individual Communicative Skills score of less than 50; Cambridge C1 Advanced C2 Proficiency – Overall minimum score of 169 with no less than 162 in each skill.
