Economics is the vibrant science of decision-making and resource allocation, unravelling the complexities of how individuals, businesses, and governments choose to use scarce resources to meet unlimited wants and needs.
By exploring human behaviour and market interactions, you’ll not only gain insight into pressing social issues but develop critical analytical and problem-solving skills highly valued in today’s rapidly evolving global economy.
During the Bachelor of Business (Economics), you will undertake a foundation year that covers all core disciplines of business, while during the second year, you will undertake microeconomics, macroeconomics, mathematical economics, and data analysis, forming a solid foundation that allows you to explore specialised subfields.
The final-year capstone subject allows you to apply everything you have learned in collaboration with students from other disciplines, plus you will also have the option of applying for an internship to gain valuable practical experience.
After completing the Bachelor of Business (Economics), you may enrol in a master’s degree and be eligible for up to four subjects’ credit, reducing your master’s degree to one year. This means you can graduate with your bachelor’s and master’s degree in just four years.
