The first year of this degree will cover all core business subjects while the second year will mark the beginning of your major where you will develop the key knowledge, skills, and competencies to succeed in this dynamic industry.
During the Bachelor of Business (Sustainable Business), you will learn how to analyse and implement solutions for complex issues around climate change, equality and modern slavery to create a brighter future for all. You will also undertake a final-year capstone subject that lets you apply everything you have learned in collaboration with students from other disciplines. Plus, you have the option of applying for an internship to gain valuable experience whilst receiving credit towards your degree.
Graduates work in a range of careers including sustainability managers, environmental consultants or a variety of new job options developing in the new economy. Whether you want to work for a large corporation, start your own business, or pursue a career in the non-profit sector, a major in sustainable business will prepare you to make a meaningful contribution to society while also achieving your professional goals.
After completing the Bachelor of Business (Sustainable Business), you may enrol in a postgraduate business master’s degree and be eligible for up to four subjects’ credit, reducing your master’s degree to one year. This degree trajectory means you can graduate with your bachelor’s and master’s in just four years.
