Course summary
The Graduate Certificate in Public Health is a flexible program that provides a broad introduction to public health. It enables graduates to confidently work with communities to contribute to effective and sustainable public health practices, both nationally and internationally. You’ll gain an insight into the challenges involved in system-level change to improve the health of our vulnerable communities and the range of career opportunities available in public health.
The Graduate Certificate in Public Health also provides an ideal pathway to the Master of Public Health for applicants who do not meet the direct admission requirements for that course.
What you will study
You will study two foundational subjects in public health, as well as two electives from within the Master of Public Health specialisations. You will engage in innovative and cutting-edge learning experiences that provide strong work-ready skills, as well as a keen analytic social lens to address issues of global health significance.
