This qualification provides a general vocational outcome in amenity horticulture. It provides a broad skill and knowledge base, and builds on skills and knowledge gained from Certificate II in Horticulture or the workplace. It may be appropriate for current or previous horticultural employees who wish to have their skills and knowledge formally recognised.

Award
To be eligible for the award of the AHC 30716 Certificate III in Horticulture, learners must complete a total of 16 units made up of 11 electives and 5 core units.
A Statement of Attainment will be issued for any unit of competency deemed competent if the full qualification has not been completed. Qualification certification will be generated after successful completion of this course and full payment, and a verified USI has been received.

AHC 40416 Certificate IV in Horticulture
REQUIREMENTS
Minimum age of 18 years
Completion of Year 12 and or equivalent
English proficiency levels of IELTS 5.5 or equivalent or completion of a Literacy, Language and Numeracy (LLN) assessment at ACSF Level 4
Mature Age students will also be considered without the minimum education requirements providing they have relevant work experience within the chosen area of study and a demonstrated capacity to meet the course requirements.
