COURSE DESCRIPTION
This degree focuses on the science that underpins physical activity and exercise, and how it can be used to design, implement and evaluate exercise programs. Throughout your study, you will gain valuable practical experience while having access to state-of-the-art facilities, dedicated exercise and sport science labs, and sports venues.
In this program, you will learn how to work with people from a range of fitness levels and ages. This includes high-performance through general health and fitness, rehabilitation and management of chronic disease through exercise.
Areas of study you can choose from include biometrics, exercise physiology, exercise prescription, motor control and sports psychology. This program will also give you the professional skills you need to deliver high-quality care, with 140 hours of work placements. Gain hands on experience in our dedicated exercise and sport science labs.
When you graduate, you can choose from a range of career options in health and fitness centres, working in government agencies associated with sport, in teaching and research, as well as professional sporting groups, rehabilitation clinics and hospitals.

REQUIREMENTS
Students must have Successful completion of Year 12 or an equivalent qualification
English Language Requirements:
IELTS: 7.0 overall score, minimum 6.5 in writing and reading, 7.0 in speaking and listening; TOEFL internet-based: Total score 94
Writing and Reading 24; Speaking and Listening 23; Pearson Test of English Academic (PTE): 65 overall; minimum 58 in writing and reading, 65 in listening and speaking.
