COURSE DESCRIPTION
As the only degree of its kind in NSW, this innovative course will prepare you for the expanding opportunities within forensic mortuary practice.
The Bachelor of Medical Science (Forensic Mortuary Practice) is a three-year degree that combines the disciplines of medical science (anatomy, physiology, pathology) with a strong focus on forensic science (forensic analysis, forensic anthropology, forensic biology and chemistry, mortuary practice), underpinned by the traditional biomedical disciplines (biology, chemistry and biochemistry).
A partnership with the Forensic and Analytical Science Service (FASS) will ensure appropriate and relevant work-integrated learning, and promote career readiness. FASS will offer placements to students at their three major sites at Lidcombe, Newcastle and Wollongong in the final year of the course.

REQUIREMENTS
Students must have Successful completion of Year 12 or an equivalent qualification.
English Language Requirements:
IELTS: 6.5 overall score (min 6.0 in each subtest); TOEFL internet-based score of 82: Writing 21, Speaking 18, Reading 13, Listening 13; Pearson Test of English Academic (PTE): 58 overall; No communication skills less than 50.
