Accidents happen. People get sick. Sometimes circumstances just get in the way of living a full life. As an Occupational Therapist, you can help give people their lives back.
Western’s Bachelor of Occupational Therapy is among the top programs in Australia. To meet the fieldwork guidelines of the World Federation of Occupational Therapists, you’ll be given hands-on experience and 1,000 hours in a professional practice. And if you decide not to go on to be an OT, you have the option of graduating with a Bachelor of Health Science after three years.

Professional accreditation
The program is accredited by the Occupational Therapy Council of Australia (Ltd) and approved by the Occupational Therapy Board of Australia. Graduates will be eligible to apply for registration as an occupational therapist with the Occupational Therapy Board of Australia (OTBA). The program is also approved by the World Federation of Occupational Therapists.

REQUIREMENTS
Students must have Successful completion of Year 12 or an equivalent qualification
English Language Requirements:
IELTS: 6.5 overall score (min 6.0 in each subtest); TOEFL internet-based score of 82: Writing 21, Speaking 18, Reading 13, Listening 13; Pearson Test of English Academic (PTE): 58 overall; No communication skills less than 50.
