COURSE DESCRIPTION
The Bachelor of Physiotherapy focuses on the relationship between the therapist and the client. This course will provide you with a thorough understanding of the technical aspects of physiotherapy, as well as the capacity to work successfully with colleagues and patients.
Western’s Physiotherapy program takes a strong evidence-based approach to health sciences teaching, learning and research, to produce professionals who can truly help clients and communities to lead healthier lives. When you graduate, you will have the skills you need to pursue a physiotherapy career in a range of health settings including private practice, aged care, private and public hospitals, rehabilitation and chronic health management. Career settings also include community-based agencies, rural and regional healthcare providers, and working with athletes and sporting organizations.

REQUIREMENTS
Students must have Successful completion of Year 12 or an equivalent qualification
English Language Requirements:
IELTS: 7.0 overall score, minimum 6.5 in writing and reading, 7.0 in speaking and listening; TOEFL internet-based: Total score 94
Writing and Reading 24; Speaking and Listening 23; Pearson Test of English Academic (PTE): 65 overall; minimum 58 in writing and reading, 65 in listening and speaking.
