You’re interested in the world around you. Want to communicate what you see, hear and feel as effectively as possible? This course gets you ready to do great things – at uni and beyond.
Be prepared for a career in the media world of tomorrow. Learn about experimental and short film, documentary-making, transmedia concepts and digital journalism, sound technology, web and motion design, and television. Be introduced to contemporary thinking around cultural studies and society, popular culture, cinema studies, everyday urban life, the cultural and social impacts of scientific theories, new technologies and multiculturalism.
When you successfully complete the 16-month diploma from The College, you gain guaranteed entry into the second year of the Bachelor of Screen Media (Arts & Production) at Western Sydney University.

REQUIREMENTS
Students must have Successful completion of Year 12 or an equivalent qualification.
English Language Requirements:
IELTS 6.0 overall score, minimum 5.5 in each subtest; TOEFL internet-based total 70 score Writing 20; listening and reading 11; speaking 16; Pearson Test of English Academic (PTE): 50 overall; No communication skills less than 42.
