The Graduate Certificate in Interpreting and Translation is suitable for practising interpreters seeking higher level skills and aspiring interpreters and translators preparing to sit for the National Accreditation Authority for Translators and Interpreters Ltd (NAATI) examination. The course consists of four units of study, and articulates into other postgraduate courses.

REQUIREMENTS

Applicants must have

An undergraduate degree or postgraduate qualification in any discipline

Native or near native proficiency in one of the following languages: Arabic, Japanese, Mandarin, Korean, Vietnamese and Spanish.

English Language Requirements:

IELTS: 6.5 overall score (min 6.0 in each subtest); TOEFL internet-based score of 82: Writing 21, Speaking 18, Reading 13, Listening 13; Pearson Test of English Academic (PTE): 58 overall; No communication skills less than 50.
