COURSE DESCRIPTION

The Master of Philosophy (MPhil) degree is undertaken as a supervised program of original research.

It is suited to those with some research training and experience, but who do not meet the eligibility criteria for direct entry into the Doctor of Philosophy (PhD).

The School of Science and Health is justifiably proud of its research pursuits. Our staff and students have strong and meaningful collaborations with research institutes, public and private health organisations, industry partners, and community organisations at the local, national, and international level. Our work through the National Institute of Complementary Medicine, the Hawkesbury Institute for the Environment, the Nanoscale Organisation and Dynamics Research Group, and the Men’s Health Information and Resource Centre places us firmly on the world stage. Our other research strengths in areas including health and well-being, sport and exercise science, rehabilitation and neuroscience, wildlife and water ecology, sustainable agriculture, and reaction chromatography are testament to our commitment to solving important problems and contributing to society.
