The Master of Sustainable Tourism and Heritage provides students with the specialist knowledge and skills required to shape the future of the tourism and heritage sectors in Australia and overseas. Graduates of the program will be equipped to deliver sustainability and innovation outcomes through working in a variety of managerial, operational, policy, planning and research roles.
The program allows students to complete specialisations in a variety of fields, including human resource management, innovation and entrepreneurship, international development, management, marketing, and planning and place making.
Students are provided pathways to employment through work placements, applied projects and opportunities to engage with high-profile industry and government partners.

REQUIREMENTS
2 Year
a bachelor degree, or higher, in any discipline, or
an advanced diploma, or equivalent, in tourism, heritage, geography, social science, cultural studies, humanities, business, hospitality, events, environmental management, or a related discipline AND five years full-time equivalent work experience at a managerial or professional level in roles related to tourism, heritage and/or the visitor economy
1.5 Year
a bachelor degree, or higher, in tourism, heritage, geography, social science, cultural studies, humanities, business, hospitality, events, environmental management, or a related discipline; or
a bachelor degree, or higher, in any discipline and a minimum of two years full-time equivalent work experience in roles related to tourism, heritage and/or the visitor economy; or
a bachelor degree, or higher, in any discipline AND a minimum of five years full-time equivalent general work experience; or
an advanced diploma, or equivalent, in tourism, heritage, geography, social science, cultural studies, humanities, business, hospitality, events, environmental management, or a related discipline AND five years full-time equivalent work experience at a managerial or professional level in roles related to tourism, heritage and/or the visitor economy
1 Year
an honours degree, graduate certificate, graduate diploma or higher, or bachelor with a minimum of two years full-time equivalent work experience in roles related to tourism and/or heritage in tourism, heritage, geography, social science, cultural studies, humanities, business, hospitality, events, environmental management, or a related discipline; or
English Language Requirements:
IELTS: 6.5 overall score (min 6.0 in each subtest); TOEFL internet-based score of 82: Writing 21, Speaking 18, Reading 13, Listening 13; Pearson Test of English Academic (PTE): 58 overall; No communication skills less than 50.
