The skills that learners gain from this course will prepare them to install and manage small-scale networks and workplace cybersecurity independently or in a team in the area of Information Technology Support Services, Education Support, etc., including the roles of:

• Client Support Officer (ICT)

• Software Support Technician
• Technical Officer (ICT)
REQUIREMENTS
Educational Background:
1. Applicants must be at least 18 years of age.
2. Successful completion of Australian Year 12 or its equivalent from an overseas institution.
3. A Certificate IV in Information Technology, or completion of other BSB/ICT or equivalent related courses, is preferable.
4. Participation in a course entry interview is required to assess suitability for the course and address individual student needs.
Language Proficiency:
Applicants must provide evidence of English language proficiency through one of the following options:
a. IELTS (International English Language Testing System) test with an overall score of 5.5.
b. TOEFL iBT (Test of English as a Foreign Language) internet-based test with a score of 46 or above.
c. PTE (Pearson Test of English) Academic with a score of 42 or above.
d. Cambridge English: Advanced (CAE) from Cambridge ESOL with test scores of 47 or above.
e. Successful completion of AQF level certificate III and or above.
f. Satisfactory completion of ELICOS studies at the upper intermediate level or above.
